did you change things in photoshop or just folowed the cab with a long shutter time?

Yes the later. I took quite a few but trying to get the composition right is a nightmare while tracking it (oh, and not bumping into someone during the shot). I think this was the better of the bunch.

yeah i know its really hard to get things like this right but if you do it always looks good

the element of speed is cool ,plus the cab being
brightly colored while the rest is drab is excellent.
I'm in manhattan everyday and that's exactly
what it looks like ....

I think this does a really good job of showing how hectic and busy NYC is. I love the coloring too.
