A beautiful macro shot, I must say. The set-up and lighting are greatly executed with the contrasting background. You've given the word simplicity a brand new meaning with Spotted. This shot reminds me of a spotlight on an open stage, focusing the attention on the performing character. Your use of the black/white background to the scarlet-red ladybug helps us remember how beautiful the smallest things in life can be. With only one small complaint, I do think that the falling fragments above the ladybug could have been eliminated from the photo to focus even more attention on the spotted bug. Once again, you've done a fantastic job with this photograph. This greatly deserves the attention it has been getting.
