Wow! You could've moved the watermark to the right bottom corner. It's spoiling the deck.

I love this photo, and it's a damn shame that you had to add the watermark. I completely understand why you did, But in my personal opinion, it's because of this that i can't use it as a wallpaper. usually i just use a program called inpaint to remove things like this, but due to the position and complexity of the background behind the text, using inpaint will ruin the shot. Excellent photo though, you have real talent

Nice choice of colors, impressive ambiant.
Sorry, I'm not an expert enough in photography to actually make a constructive critic. Perhaps a little, just a little (about 6-7%) to dark in the black areas, other than that, perfect.

Gah, that watermark is just garish. Thanks though, it's nice otherwise. Just won't be using it as a wallpaper.

No but the picture reminds me of Brighton pier, nothing comparable, but all pier in England have this same eerie... more of fairyness that I miss.

This pier is in Wales :D
A lot of people make the mistake for thinking that all countries in the UK are in England mainly due to the American's lack of education in this area. The UK is made up of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales :woohoo:

AH! But I'm not american and though I understand the difference between England and UK I always forget not to be rude. My apologies.
On the other hand, just for the sake of conversation, Mauritius (my country of origin)is an old British colony like australia or India. The perception and the current language that prevails in my country is to define the Kingdoms under one definition: England or atleast Great Britain and from time to time as United Kingdoms. I must admit though that we refer to Ireland as Ireland or Scotland as Scotland but for Wales and England we rarely make the distinction. Again I apologise for this lack of education.

Anyway, great work (thanks for sharing) and I maintain that the overall reminds me of England, with all respect to the people of Wales, because...hey we are an old British colony too and some buildings in Mauritius have something of the general architecture of UK's Victorian period...and others of Bretagne during Napoleon's period...France for me :-D

Hi!
I've taken a look through your gallery and you look as if you have tried a few different styles. The images that I like are those you've take of Street/Urban which seem to be your better shots.

I personally shoot with a Canon 40D (digital). Unfortunately film photography is becoming ever more the minority format so therefore I would advise digital as the way forward. The type, make and model is a personal choice and I would advise reading up on reviews on-line and in photo magazines to help you make an informed choice that will be best suited to you and your style.

Hope this helps :D

:slow: That's what I get for forgetting which sub-gallery I was browsing.

My monitor is a very wide screen so the only place I have the patience to look anymore is the Widescreen section. Otherwise I'll find something I love and it won't be formatted to look worth a flip on my monitor, get pissed and stick with the one I have. :bucktooth:
