Condensation Catwalk Comment: Taken on a damp, dull and dismal day. Drizzled most of the day so I set up a temporary studio in a garage and worked only with the light coming through the frosted window. Watermark: Sorry! New logo/© used. Sorry this will now be on all my work apart from purchased prints etc. I've tried to make it as appealing as possible. Don't blame me, blame the thieves that sell my work on eBay!!! Colors are beautiful, and I really like the contrasts!
Depth of view is pretty stunning as well, it almost gives a feeling of walking around in a jungle.
The only issue(s) that I see with this photo is that there's no real message behind it. It's not necessarily a must, but I don't feel like it tells a story in any way. I sometimes forget it myself when I take photos but it's not always a bad thing. Let's not forget that this is a macro shot, it differs from portraits and nature photo in terms of story telling.
The other thing that made me react a bit was your choice of focus. When putting the object of focus in the bottom of the picture it can get a little bit confusing and distracting, maybe it's because we're all used to having the focus in center. Personally, I think it works just fine with these sort of objects, even though I prefer when things are centered.
Overall it's a very beautiful macro, but I get the feeling that something is missing.
